The Marketing Cooperation Group (ARGE) “HELLO SALZBURG – Salzburg’s Top Attractions” is responsible for the processing of your personal data on our website. Information about individual members can be found in the imprint.

The ARGE has concluded an agreement on the joint processing of personal data in accordance with data privacy law, Art. 26 DSG-VO, which defines which persons within the ARGE are responsible to undertake which tasks in terms of data privacy.

Processing Agents, Recipients

We process your personally identifiable data with the assistance of processing agents, who support us through the services they provide (e.g. Web hosts, email newsletter distribution services etc.).

Matomo is used to collect connection data and browser data for the purpose of analyzing the use of our website, fixing errors, and developing content until objections are raised. The legal basis for processing is the unconditional technical necessity of processing analytical data in accordance with § 96 (3) TKG to provide the website service expressly requested by users.

Server Log Files

Based upon the responsible party’s preponderant interest in doing so, in order to monitor technical functionality and improve operational reliability (including technological security measures) of the Web server, this website processes the following personally identifiable data in a server log file: IP, directory protection user, date, time, accessed pages, protocols, statuscode, traffic, referer, user agent, accessed hostname

The IP addresses are anonymized in this process. The anonymized IP addresses will be deleted after 60 days. Information about the directory protection user will be anonymized after one day.

Error logs, which log incorrect page requests, will be deleted after seven days. In addition to the error messages, these logs contain the accessing IP address and, depending on the error, the requested webpage.

Your Rights

You have the right to receive information about personally identifiable data which has been collected about you, as well as to have such information corrected, deleted or the use thereof restricted.

Insofar as the legal foundation for the processing of your personally identifiable data based in your expressed permission or in the contract you have concluded, you also have the right to data transferability.

You have the right to revoke any permission you may have given for the processing of personally identifiable data. However, this in no way affects the legality of our having processed your personally identifiable information prior to the point at which you revoke your permission.
