The spectacularly modernised adventure world of the Krimml Worlds of Water was opened today with a festive event and numerous guests of honour. The occasion was the 25th anniversary of the popular destination, which has been extensively remodelled with a completely new concept and 25 fascinating adventure stations. The children from Krimml primary school were particularly enthusiastic as ‘quality checkers’ - they tested the new stations with visible joy and a childlike spirit of discovery.
Water experience: learning, marvelling and playing on 6,000 m²
Visitors can look forward to a completely redesigned water park that brings the power, beauty and diversity of water to life with impressive installations such as ‘dancing drops’, enchanted water art, a powerful Aquamax station and an interactive water ball track. Young guests in particular are accompanied by the little water droplet ‘Wassili’, who guides them through the experience in a child-friendly way. It is particularly worth emphasising that all stations are barrier-free, meaning that people with limited mobility can enjoy the whole experience without any restrictions.
Another highlight is the new water cinema, which uses impressive film footage and animations to tell the story of a drop of water's journey from the depths of space to the Krimml Waterfalls. The humorous protagonist guides you through the eternal cycles of nature - a multimedia highlight that combines knowledge and emotion.
Open again from 20th May 2025
With their comprehensive redesign, the Krimml Worlds of Water are setting new standards in the field of interactive water experiences. They will be open to all visitors again from 20 May 2025 - an unforgettable adventure for families, school classes, nature and national park enthusiasts and anyone who wants to experience water in its most impressive forms.
