Autumn on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road

The Grossglockner High Alpine Road invites visitors to enjoy autumn excursions until its weather-dependent winter closure, expected in early November. Reduced autumn rates apply from 15 October 2026:

- Car: €36.50 instead of €46.50
- Motorcycle: €30.00 instead of €36.50
- Bus: €5.50 per person instead of €7.30

Opening hours:
- Until 26th October: 6:00 am–7:30 pm (last entry at 6:45 pm)
- From 27th October: 8:00 am–5:00 pm (last entry at 4:15 pm)

Access depends on weather and road conditions. Visitors are advised to check the current road status before travelling at www.grossglockner.at.
